This course deals with the nature of civil rights and liberties. It also discuss the historical development of such rights Arabia prior to Islam and afterwards. This course also deals with the contemporary notions of civil rights and liberties in Western democracies, especially the notion of natural rights and the notion of development of the nation state. This course deals also with the civil rights and liberties and their safeguards in the Jordanian legal system.
